CONSUMER BEHAVIOR

On Thursday, September 7th 2017, for the first time I entered in the class of consumer behavior courses in the B1-C3 room from 13:00 to 15:30This consumer behavior is the first course that I entered in semester 5. Lecturer teaching consumer behavior is Prof. Dr. Ir Ujang Sumarwan MSc. At the beginning of the lecture before enteringthe material of consumer behavior, Mr. Ujang provides a simple question as to what the meaning of the consumer is and asks sequentially according to the seat from front to back. From there my first impression to Mr. ujang he is a cool and funny lecturer.
there are several benefits in studying consumer behavior such that companies can understand the consumer, analyze consumer behavior well, for the government to be able to draft rules and laws to protect consumers, and help consumers to make decisions wisely. Maslow mentioned five human needs based on their importance ranging from the lowest, namely the biological needs to the highest of the psychological needs. To reach its needs, a consumer must have goals. Goals can be divided into two: generic goals and specific product goals.
It can be concluded that consumer behavior is all activities, actions and psychological processes that encourage such actions before buying, when buying, using, spending products and services after doing the above things or evaluating activities (Sumarwan, 2010).There are three  dimensions to analyze consumer behavior. the first is how to get, the second is how to consume, the third is how to eliminate the rest of the consumption. Eliminating the rest of the consumption can be done by giving to others, resold, converted to better function, and others. History of the discipline of consumer behavior there is a cornerstone of microeconomics, introduced before the demand theory, consumer behavior theory is not shared empirically.
